I started a soft plastics bait company this past august. So far it's doing good I have been getting a lot of positive feed back from the fishing community. I have gotten to the point that I am ready to branch out and pick up a few more store so I thought I would try my luck at hook 1 this weekend and fish a few days in the area. I received word that most people where fishing a warm water discharge for striper and doing well. So I made a batch of swimbaits that I have been playing around with to see how they would do. It turns out that fish really liked it and wasn't biting much of anything else. I hooked up with a guy named Chris Bryant that is on the hook 1 crew and on the feel free kayak fishing team. He got most of his fish on video including a 15 pound striper. I was able to catch a good number of fish nothing to big. My biggest was 24". I have a good time and was able to pick up a new store. Congrats on the new company, Feel free to advertise on here when ever you want. Do you have a website up and running yet?
Justin, if I remember correctly, you are from around Charleston? How is the the chemical spill going to affect the areas you fish?

Yes it is justin good memory i know I meet you at the meet and great but you couldn't make it to the river raid if I remember correctly myself. The water situation sucks from what I can tell it will be next week before I get water back. The fish won't be affected from what I have been told. I am gonna try to fish this weekend and try my prototype here in wv I hope to have the final product by next month and get it in store a week or two after. Thanks for letting me advertise on the forum. If I can do anything for u guys let me know I will be at the kbf open giving out baits if anybody is gonna make it and I will try to come back down and fish with you guys soon. If there will be a get together please let me know post it on my Facebook page and I will try to be more of a presents on this forum

No web site up yet I am workin on that. My baits will be at hook 1 in the next 2 weeks you should be able to order them if there is a bait store that everybody frequently goes to if you will give me the info I will go talk to them and try to get my baits in the store for u guy to get locally

might want to chat with Dwayne Lamb owner of captains quarters on SML. He carries a lot of local stuff and is the only actually bait shop on the water of SML. He's closed for the winter but next time i see him when he picks up one of my rods i will mention something to him if you want. He normally opens back up the first weekend of March.

Yes they are a gas station, snack bar, tackle shop and guide service. They are right on 460 in Pembroke.
