Sorry Phil
Phil called me last week with an idea of a get together sometime for dinner or a beer or something so everyone could meet one another. I got the stomach flu about an hour after getting off the phone with him, and by the time I was nearly over it, I had to be in Ohio for a few days for work... so I completely forgot to post it. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions.

Im up for whatever you guys come up with. I think it would be cool for all of us to have a get together.I know a lot of the guys on here but would like to meet the ones I don't know.

Well, I'm certainly up for it. I would suggest somewhere in the Blacksburg/Christensburg area. I have been thinking about this for some time and am glad it's out there. The problem will be is where can we get together and tip some beers without getting hasseled by the police. I would be more than happy to have it at my place but I live in Catawba off the beatin path.
I was thinking maybe burgers and dogs or chicken, something not too hard to prep and maybe others could bring some sides. What do ya'll think???

I'm thinking sometime in March...kinda a spring kickoff but am afraid to pic a date until we can see how the weather is gonna be. If like last year with all the rain, I just don't know. I do have a two car garage we could set up in if it is raining.
I was certainly hoping for more members to chime in though. Jeff, can you send some kind of an e-mail out and copy all existing members in on it? Not sure if that is possible or not. Just thinking. As the site is so dead this time of year maybe a lot of members aren't checking the site.
If anyone is coming from a distance they would be welcome to set up camp in the back yard so they don't have to worry about driving home late or loaded...LOL

I will send out an email. The only weekend I know in March is the weekend of the 14th I will be in SC. I also have to work the day of the 29th but should be done it time.
