This is a sad reminder of just how dangerous it can be on the water.  As kayaker we have to be even more vigilant out there especially on our big lakes so remember to wear your pfd and if you fish at night make sure you have good marker lighting.  The booze cruisers are out in force now.

I love to fish out of kayaks but you couldn't pay me to fish sml in one. When I go to big lakes like buggs island im in a triton.

It's sad and a reminder how much we need to remember to where our pfd and be seen as much as possible. IF I go on SML I stick as close to the bank as possible and avoid all the heavily traffic areas.

I was out there fishing the FLW event this weekend, and we had a lot of boat trouble, and at one point we got stuck in the middle of a channel. Not only did no one stop as we attempted to flag them down, we nearly got run over by a few pleasure boaters... I can't even imagine fishing out of a kayak on there
