I read on the dgif site where someone introduced chain pickerel in there and there is a good population. I don't think they were in there when we use to fish it. When I lived out in Appomattox all the lakes and ponds had them. Seemed to hit anything shiny, spinnerbaits, rattle traps and silver rapalas.

Well, it looks like our group float has gone by the wayside. Just as well given the wind conditions they are calling for. Kinda sucks but I guess it's better than a crappy should have stayed home float. Maybe we can try again at a later date.
