6:30 sounds good to me but I've never been past Pembroke. About how much farther is the ramp past Tangent outfitters and is there any land marks you can give me so I wont pass it up? |

You need to go past the town of narrows to rich creek on 460. When you get to rich creek you need to make a u turn and head back east on 460. There is a camp ground on the right the ramp is just past it

I believe I'm gonna float from Eggleston to Pembroke on Sat. One of the wife's and my friends has been wanting me to take HER on a float on the New for two years now. I probably wont't fish much as she isn't a fisherman. I was watching this to see what happened as I was hoping to get in on the shuttle so's we wouldn't have to juggle vechicles. Oh well, it is what it is. I would be off the river way before y'all anyways. Tight lines guys. Maybe I can get the wife to shuttle us. She's done it before. Phil, what time are you going and how many? If we can swing it, we can bring the truck and trailer and leave it at Pembroke for the shuttle after we leave our kayaks at Eggleston. I can drive us back to Eggleston in my car, unless someone wants to pick us up. |

Bill and I are going to do the run from Eggleston to Pembroke with Phil on Saturday. Got the shuttle covered! Thanks Phil for taking us newbies out on this float!

Who all is going on the narrows to Glen lyn float in the morning. I see that Phil and a few others are going down to Pembroke, I've made that float several times before... I want to explore new territory never been past Pembroke yet. I sure hope the river doesn't get all messed up from all the rain falling right now, its storming pretty good out here now
