The little ramp above the Dedmon center is located on Pulaski St. Here is a useful little tool on paddling.net for finding canoe and kayak launch sites. You can even add your own.

Pretty good conditions for our float. Not a lot of wind and it didn't get too hot until the end of the float. I was able to catch a nice one and raised 5-6 more. Harry had one short bite him and caught a nice smallie on his second cast after switching to lighter tackle. I'm guessing the fish were on the move and not really hanging in specific spots. I had follows from the banks, the middle, out of the grass and from the ledges. Might be that time of year where you really have to spread those casts out. Harry was able to get some pics of the my 44".
