I believe there was 87 or so people in all divisions. It was a good time. I caught around 30 fish but none were over 12". I didn't get a bite or raise a musky on Friday night. There were only 2 caught. I helped a guy take a picture on a 19" smallie that he caught on live bait.

I have fished this tourny for the last 3 years. Its a good tournament. It is more laid back than others that I have competed in. They allow live bait, which makes it difficult for me because I only use artificial. As you can see from the flyer, two nights of camping are included. Between that and the BBQ, Tshirt, and shuttle, the $25 is well worth it. I fished the men's spinning category and placed 10th. 27 1/4 inches. I caught a TON of 11-12"ers.

I agree on the live bait. I do not use live bait either. The only nice small mouths I saw caught were on creek chubs. I also did not like not having an identifier, espically since some people used their own rulers. But I also had a good time. I had planned to camp, but work did not work out to have time to get everything together.

I also fished in this tournament, and had a great time. ;D But I also felt that there should have been either a restriction, or a seperate category for live bait. I think the top 2 or 3 fish were all caught on live bait, and let's face it, the fish really weren't biting much all day. ( I caught an 11-1/2" and 12-1/2"er)
But considering how laid back the whole event was, I'm still planning on entering again next year!
