What would you like to see in 2013?

What kind of things would you like to see from the site or group in the upcoming year? Here are some ideas I have let me know what ideas you have and any thoughts on mine...

1) A tournament or two, one in the spring has already been mentioned, I would like to see one in the fall also if all goes well.

2) At least one river raid or rodeo or whatever you want to call it. Maybe one on this side of the lake and and another on the upper river or another body of water. Or possibly a float and camp kind of trip.

3) Would like to take a trip or two to some new waters that I have never fished. North Fork of the Holston is tops on my list and has been for a couple of years and have not made it out there yet.

4) Maybe an online monthly tournament for fun. no money, just posting your fish on a measuring board in the board and total of the top 5 fish or so for the month wins the swvaka angler of the month. and maybe keep track for the year and have an angler of the year. Maybe from March - Nov. just thought it would be something fun for some friendly competetion.

I would definately like to see a couple of river raids or rodeos. It is always great to get together with the group. I don't really care about tournaments but will fish them if we have one or two. Are we talking just our gang or open to the public kind of thing?

The tournaments, I would like to see just the people from on here, unless others object. The online ones are just for fun, you would have to be on here to do it.

I really want to do a 2-3 night float from Claytor down to Narrows maybe, or a float down to Bluestone. That may be a bit ambitious, but you gotta dream big, right?

The trip to the Holsten is on my radar, for sure!
I went out to WV last fall and fished with a few guys from KBF. That section of the New was really nice, and had a cool camprground. I'm always up for a bit of exploring!!

Do you guys want to start these in Feb or March?

I did a few overnight trips last year. One from radford to eggleston, another from glen Lynn to Indian creek and lake moomaw. I strongly encourage you guys to do this type of trip. I'm your Guy to anyone who wants to do this type of trip. As for the tournaments, I'm still in the process of getting some rules and potential dates together. As for anything else, I'm in.

I know this is a dead subject but i would love to have it all lol.. itll bring the community together and get some awesome fishing in.
