I'm looking for ideas on Christmas gift suggestions from ya'll. The wife is always looking as what to get me. I think I have all I need but am up for suggestions for anything new out there. Especially stocking stuffers. My anchor rope is always a mess in my yak. I have heard about using retractable dog leashes but am not sure how to rig it up. Also have used them for dogs and they don't seem to hold up well. I'm sure there are some new gagets out there I haven't seen or heard of. I wonder if I bought a humongus stocking (say 15') if she would take the hint and surprise me with that Tarpon 140.  |

Favorite baits always make a good stocking stuffer, especially ones that you go through often. New spools of line to respool. Any gear that is broken that needs to be replaced? How about any reels or rods or gear you want to upgrade? Not sure if you have one or are interested in one but a GoPro so you can video your fishing and floats. A trip to a fishing destination you want to go to. Any thing to add to your kayak such as gear tracks, black pak, stake out pole. those are some of the things that come to mind.

Tell her you want gift cards. Bass pro etc, then you can get what you want. Or do like me, I ordered me a new bear attitude compound bow. Forget the stockings hang up your chest waders you can get a lot more in them.

linkLuther at yakattack has this brand new product out. I think is to keep all of your rope out of the way.

Toyz...you had lots of great ideas. I should have thought of most of them myself. And Greg, I like the chest wader idea! LOL Jeff, I took a look at the sidewinder and it has some definite posabilities. I just don't know about that whole assy. hanging out there in the water. If you see it in a store give me a shout. I wonder how much it is.

you got a visipole already right? If not those are invaluable; maybe a new paddle? And like others said baits, line, and little things like that are great
