I'm planning on driving up to Farmville at the end of this month before bow season starts. It'll either be on the 20th or 27th depending on weather. I plan on leaving the house early and fishing all day then driving home that night. If anybody's interested just give me a shout.

Yakattack is having a kayak tournament on the 20th up there for a little girl with cancer. I will send you the info when I get home tonight.

Thanks Jeff, I knew they did a big tourney in the spring and plan on going up for it. If the weather looks good that weekend I might try to fish in it as well. I only got to fish it for a couple hours when I went to farmville to pick up my predator but caught several nice fish without leaving the cove that the upper boat ramp was in so any advice on where to go would be appreciated.

I have had some success up there in some of the coves and some success around the island at the dam. I struggle at Briery for some reason, use to fish there quite a bit when I lived out there. I do much better at Sandy river. Mark probably not, my wife works for the state, and they are proposing some pretty big budget cuts, so we are putting anything unnecessary on hold until we find out whats going to be cut or not. If she finds out here job is safe before the deadline, I may pay the extra $20 and go, I sure the food will be worth it. Good thing I already bought a reel for my rod you are making me.

Gotcha yea I was hoping to go but having to drop 4k in my truck this week kind of put that out the window I think.
Madriver I might be up to it. Not sure what I have planed yet for that weekend. I will let you know for sure as it gets closer.
