Since the river will likely be a mess this weekend after all this rain Greg and I are planning on heading to Dan Hale to fish Saturday . Anybody who wants to meets us over there is welcome to join us.

Do I or not need WV license to fish Dan Hale? Id be willing to give it a try. I need to practice on the LM fishing for the YakAttack tournament come May
I will probably get a license latter so I can fish the Narrows to Glen Lyn floats one day with that bunch from the other side

No WV license needed at Dan Hale. It costs $8 to fish it. Narrows to Glen Lyn is on the VA side also. The WV float I'm looking forward to is Shanklins Ferry to Indian Creek. I might be able to come fish Saturday depending on work.

Wish it was Sunday, I would probably go, but my dad is coming up to go to the unc/vt baseball game saturday.

Where exactly is Dan Hale? I only live about 30 minutes from Bluefield but ive never heard of it til I saw you guys talking about it on here.

That's a heck of an offer Greg but I have too much to do around the house right now. I don't even have time to fish local at the moment. Now when the spring bite kicks in I'll make time!

Well it looks like I won't be fishing until Sunday now. I've gotta work but hopefully I'll get to hunt some mushrooms that evening at least.

Anybody who wants to meets us over there is welcome to join us. Were changing our plan of attack and headed to the New river above Glenn Lynn for anybody who wants to join us. Gonna put in around 7:30am or so. |
