Were scrapping dan hale. Narrows to glen lyn tomorrow. We are leaving at 630. Should be there a little after 7. Meeting at the ramp below the falls on the 460 side.

10000 cfs at Glen Lyn, could be a quick float. It will probably come down over night, if we don't get any rain

I think I ended up with the worst change of plans,,,I was going fishing some where Saturday then I talked with the owner of landing and learned that I was going to have to cut the grass... The regular grounds keeper hasn't signed back on yet. So I went and looked at it and thought, I better get it now next week I might need a bush hog so Ill be on the mower tomorrow taking one for the club

Well Harry, If you had two riders I would come help you and we could fish afterwards. I have no way to transport mine or I would. If you do have two by chance call me as I am up and ready to go. But I will not use a walk behind.

But I will not use a walk behind. It wasn't to bad Phil,,, and I only have the one rider I'm like you,,, not walking behind no mower. I was able to get it done in just under 1 and 1/2 hours, but I'll still have to cut it again on Thursday before the event. sure glad I cut it today next week would have been tough on my mower.... It sure looks good down there, I'm ready |

How was the fishing for you guys today? I did the float from Bluff City to Narrows this evening. I never got a bite. I talked to a few guys that were in boats and none of them were having any luck either.

That's great Harry. How sis the water look? Were there any fishermen out there? If I know you I'm figuring you probably did a little fishing after the mowing was done.

Phil the water was as high as I've ever seen it down there and it was moving pretty swiftly. I saw 2 guys in one of those guide rafts but I couldn't see if they were having any luck and I didn't get to fish I had stuff to do at the house, I had to meet up with my plumber we have to put in a new tub |

Greg and I fished Dan Hale. We caught one LMB each in 5 hours of fishing. It was real tough. The bucks were up cruising shallow in places but not interested in eating. Water temp was 62. We talked to 5 other boats and nobody was doing any good minus some stocked trout that were being caught . The highlight of the trip was a calzone at Angelo's pizza on the way back.

The funny part of Saturday's fishing was a conversation that went like this.......
Jamie.."Hey that guy on the other side of the cove has a dog with him in his bass boat. No he has two dogs! They both look like weimaraners".
Me..."He only has one dog."
Jamie..."Are you sure"?
Me..."Yeah I am sure. I saw them unload and launch the boat this morning. It is him, his dog, and his girlfriend."
Jamie...."I don't know who should be more embarrassed me for saying that or him for having a girlfriend who when she wears a ballcap looks like a weimaraner"?
