Thanks Jeff, I get paid on Wednesday so Ill probably pick up a couple ugly sticks. Thinking about taken the wife down to Bass Pro Shop... depending on how much I spend on the rods I might need an extra reel for a few weeks, only one of my reels survived the ordeal. Ill let you know, and thanks again Which BPS?? I think there is a group road trip required!!! I decided to just go to the Sportsman's Warehouse in Roanoke instead of BPS. I can buy a life vest at the sportsman's with the gas money it would take for me to go to Bristol... I'm starting over, I need everything that I once had

Thanks Phil, Ill take you up on the pfd, I was going to get one better than the one I had, a little over 100 bucks. I could use that money for other stuff right now and get my pfd next month. thanks again, I'll swing by your place Wednesday or Thursday evening

Harry, If you lost tackle and stuff, post a list of what all you use, I know I have gobs of bags of plastics that I never use, and boxes of hardbaits also. I would bet others do also.
Also I would give Native a call or send them an email, and tell them your situation, and the story and pictures of what happened. Some of these companies are really good and will do a lot for their customers. They may have a used seat or could send you one at cost or near and save you probably over a $100 or so, who knows they could just send you one, you never know. I would do the same with bending branches, If they don't do something for you, all you are out is a few minutes of your time for a phone call or an email.
Like I said, I am sure I have some rods and reels laying around I am not using, if you need to borrow them.

Like I said, I am sure I have some rods and reels laying around I am not using, if you need to borrow them. I've actually looked on line for Native watercraft and found no contact info just dealers. I got the number and email address for BB but didn't call today... I did find out that my car insurance won't cover it. but if it was someone else's boat they would have, WTH. they said to check with my home owners insurance. We will find out if they will help me tomorrow.
I didn't lose to much tackle, 4 bags of flukes about it but destroyed the tackle bag. Ill get one this week. some of the things that got tore up like the Berkley rod holders Ill get after I get the yak back on the water. I'm going to get one rod, reel and pfd from Phil and Ill probably buy one ultra light combo, I like catching fish on those. Also I don't know how but the best spinning reel I had survived so I just need a ugly stick for it. That will give me 3 poles that's all I need right now, and Ryan donated a Hawg Trough.

WOW!! I'm blown away about the price on my seat $425.00 WTF for a lounge chair, are you kidding me... I thought it was going to be about $300 and I thought that was ridiculously crazy... Holly crap, now I feel like tying the yak back to the truck and dragging it down to backcountry. They have a Slayer 12 just like mine in perfect shape for $1000.00 sitting on the deck out there, with a seat and front hatch cover on it.
