Just recently bought me a hobie lanai. Not sure how well it will work from a fishing stand point but I think I can make it work. I've seen some of the posts about going on the new river, not sure if I'm ready for that this summer yet but depending on how ambitious I get, who knows. Hope to see some of yall soon. Welcome to the site Darrell. Man you have got to get out on the river with us, there's nothing else like it. Some times its a rush when your coming up on white water and it sounds like Niagara falls... Cant be scared of turtling and getting wet It happens to all of us... The only thing is if its in your yak and you don't want to lose it , tether it in. If its not tied it belongs to the river. Hope to see you on the river one day

Welcome!! a river run is a rush!! If I can do it, you can do it!! Just start out on a stretch that is a learner, like Eggleston to Pembroke. Hope to see you on the water!
