We had a good time n great turn out for the float, 16 in all, had 10 in the biggest bass pool contest and was won by Brian Aliff from WV. with a 17.5 SM....After talking with everyone there were tons of fish caught but hard to get many over 15in. I enjoyed meeting and talking with all the new yakers.... Pretty sure a couple are joining the club now.... Pretty sweet float, thinking about doing it again in October, according to Greg it's killer that time of the year

Enjoyed floating with everyone yesterday. Good meet new folks with a similar interests. Looking forward to another float soon. My usual floats are in the Galsx/Fries area, if any one wants to float there let me know.

Thanks to Wes, for putting together this group float. And a big thanks to all that could make it out to share in the camaraderie. Enjoyed meeting new folks and finally getting back on the river, it's been awhile for me. Got aunt Tammy to tag along for her 3rd river outing. She's getting better at river fishing, with good numbers and boated a nice 17" smallie this time out. I think everyone caught fish and had a good time fishing this section. Old friends, Greg hammered em in numbers and Phil broke the 15" mark a couple times. I was happy with my own numbers and boated a few nice one's myself. A beautiful day. Except for the wind that's always present down the home stretch, a nice easy float and good fishing. Can't wait to do another.

I've been down that way once with Jeff and Heath but it was a bad day as far as the catching of fish went. Some times the fish got a win... Ill go any where to get on some new water and try something different now and again. And It was nice meeting you and thanks for the ride back |
