Wes Widrig Is putting a float together for Augusts 1st. from rich creek to glen lynn...He doesn't do the site forums,,, Not sure of all the detail but I'm thinking Jeff put him in charge of the SWVAKA Facebook page witch is now a closed group. Wes said it's easer to contact people and post picks but not everyone has access now so hit me up on Facebook (Harry Cusick in Blacksburg) or if that don't work try this ( harry.cusick.7@facebook.com) and Ill add you to the group... I've been wanting to make this float for awhile now...And I've been told by others that its good fishing threw that stretch of the river... Lets see if we can get a good size group put together for this one... the last big float, Phil posted up had 13 yakers on the water, that was a good turn out |

The Facebook page is still there. Wes found a group that I started before making the page and I had forgotten about it. I will continue to post stuff to the page .

Wes Widrig getting a float together on 8/1 .. I copied and pasted this from the SWVAKA FB page....
Saturdays float will be from Rich Creek Va to Glen Lynn Campground on rt 460. Plan to meet at the Rich Creek public ramp around 730. We will get boats ready and then run the shuttle down to Glen Lynn. Off the water 3:30 give or take.
Hope to see you yakers at the put in.

I do have a friend or two coming that won't be fishing but for those that want to, how about a little friendly wager and some bragging rights. Here's the format: your best fish at the end of the day. $5 entry, winner takes all.
