Three people on the outing and two turtled. I was not one of them. The other was a newbie and I would expect HER to turtle...but not a seasoned vet like Greg.

I have never done the Eggleston to Pembroke float with the water level so low. It was pretty treacherous in spots. I came close a couple of times.

Yikes! At least the water was warm; I've turtled twice, and neither time was the water warm. It's the inevitable club we'll all join

Dont feel bad i got wet on the james a couple weeks ago, and lost a nice rod....

Dont feel bad i got wet on the james a couple weeks ago, and lost a nice rod.... I didn't lose any but broke one rod. Broke both of the ram tough tubes off the back. On a up note ordered two tough tubes from amazon, the rod wasn't one of my ducketts so it could have been worse. |

Welcome to the club! Hate you broke a rod and your ram tubes... I have turtled twice... both on the same day on that same float... I have never been on that float when someone didn't flip. Did you all catch any fish?

Hate you broke your stuff Greg. I almost joined the club Saturday in the first riffles I went through in Ivanhoe. It's amazing how differently a kayak balances when you throw an extra 50 or so pounds of camping gear in it.

Welcome to the club! Hate you broke a rod and your ram tubes... I have turtled twice... both on the same day on that same float... I have never been on that float when someone didn't flip. Did you all catch any fish? I caught 19. Nothing big. It was tuff all day. Most fish came on senkos. |

Yo Guys...I didn't turtle but had my guest turtle and broke two of my rods. They were both cheapies but still catch fish.
