I just read that one of our members "Catawba" Mike Byrne passed away today. He was not very active on here and not sure how many of you guys know him. I fished with him and some guys from NCangler a few years ago on the new on one of their trips.

Even though I only met Mike once, I had several discussions with him on some of the older forums like riverbassin when I first started kayak fishing. He was a great guy, and had a wealth of fishing knowledge.

He was a real good guy and loved the sport. As I remember he invited us on a couple of floats a year or so ago. He will be a loss to our passion.
