Hi Guys,
I'm new to this board and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Tom and I live in Abingdon. I love to get out and fish just about anyplace. I travel with my work so I have the opportunity to fish a lot of different places as I travel around the eastern territory of Maine to Florida. My main boat is a Jackson Coosa HD and my "travel" boat when I'm on the road is an NRS Pike IK (inflatable kayak).
I'd love to get in some of the rivers around here, especially the Clinch and the New but have trouble doing that by myself as the shuttle logistics are a bit of a problem with one person! I'd like to get connected with the group to meet some like-minded folks to learn from and to fish with. My work schedule is pretty flexible. As long as I have my phone in my pocket, I can usually get out during the weekdays if I'm not on the road.
I'll be headed down to Lake Wiley in SC (just south of Charlotte) for the River Bassin' Trail event on April 2 if anybody is headed that way. My company helps sponsor the series so I'll be there not as a competitor but as a Rep for the company. Once I'm back from that event I hope that the fish will be a bit more active up this way and I hope to get up to the New River, Holston River and maybe over to the Clinch.
If anyone is interested in getting out there I'd be happy to have some company. I have a trailer and can haul a few boats so shuttle help is something that I could offer. Looking forward to meeting some of you all and looking forward to some great fishing trips this year!
Thanks for letting me into the group!
Tom
